We’ve travelled a fair bit over the past 4 and a half years. C loves to travel and enjoys nothing more than booking her next trip while she’s on her current trip!!
We’ll fill you in on some of our more spicier adventures in due course, but let’s start with our 1st slightly spicy adventure. (This wasn’t the one that got the ball rolling, but our first sexy holiday together)
We visited Amsterdam towards the end of their Covid lockdown, in the January of 2022. Just as the world was starting to re-open again. It was slight debacle, involving lots of swabs up our noses and paperwork, but it was worth it.
Everything in the city was due to be shut, but we decided still to go as we’d booked a very luxurious and super sexy hotel to spend the weekend in.
Anyone whose been to Amsterdam before will know that you don’t need shops, restaurants and nightclubs to have a good time. You can wander the canals for
hours, take in the architecture and views and as long as you wrap up warm a steaming hot chocolate, loaded with cream and a spot of people watching at a canal side café is a wonderful way to while away the hours.
We knew we’d enjoy our days regardless, but had plans for some spicy night times, making the most of our big round ‘Hugh Hefner style’ bed and in-room jacuzzi!
But as luck would have it, while we where sitting on the Eurostar as we pulled into Brussels the driver announced that the Netherlands had decided that they would be re-opening the city the very next day!!

Shops would be open as long as you wore a mask, cafes and restaurants could serve takeaway food and bars and cafes could serve food outside as long as people distanced themselves. It was a small milestone, but a total bonus!
Again, we are not going to go into too much detail about the ‘ins and outs of this weekend’ but we do hope to share more with you one day. We also have another blog planned of our follow up trips to Amsterdam. Each one gets steamier and steamier!!
But for now, we’ll leave with you the fact that we enjoyed some early evening shopping in the finest of sex shops and stayed in a rather wonderful hotel!
